The Arlmont Firewise Community stretches from East Bay Regional Park at its eastern edge to Arlington Avenue, Kensington's main thoroughfare. The area's streets are essential wildfire evacuation routes for the Kensington Hilltop Elementary School. To our south is the town's active Park and Community Center.
In 2025, we formed our Firewise Community to focus on reducing wildfire risk on individual properties and are working with neighboring Firewise Communities on evacuation planning on these critical streets that feed into Arlington Avenue.
Household Activity Reports are required for our Firewise Certificate to be renewed each year. They also help shape Kensington's wildfire programs.
Track your time and expenses for risk reduction activities and submit them to your Firewise Lead. Record your activities on our Print Report Form, using the link above, and drop it off or email a photo to your Lead. Alternatively, you can submit your activities online, using the Online Form link above. Reports should be submitted twice a year, by April 15 and October 15.
In November, community activity totals are compiled and reported to Firewise USA for certificate renewal. (Your personal info and actions are never shared.)
